Iraq, officially the Republic of Iraq, is a country in Western Asia extended to most of the northwestern end of the Zagros mountain range, the eastern part of the Syrian Desert and the northern part of the Arabian Desert. There are two main streams of rivers are the Tigris and the Euphrates. It splits edges with Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to the south, Jordan to the west, Syria to the northwest, Turkey to the north, and Iran to the east. It has a very slight section of coastline at Umm Qasr on the Persian Gulf. Iraq has a farming competent land and difference with the desert landscape that covers most of Western Asia.

Iraq is a country with unequalled history in the history. Its indeed the birthplace of Civilization 9000 years ago, where Age of Empires started, and where we, all of us, moved from prehistory to history. When you visit Iraq, unlike any other country in the World, you feel, taste, and smell history. In Iraq, lived ancient Sumerians, Akkadians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Cassites, and Chaldeans. Here lived ancient Gudea, Ur-nammo, Sargon, Hammurabi, Sennacherib, and Nebuchadnezzar. Among Islamic countries, Iraq benefits from being a very significant position, as it has been cradle of motivation miracles and assets all through the history of Prophets, Imams, and self denying pious men.

The capital city, Baghdad, is situated in the center-east of the country. The official languages are Arabic, Kurdish. The country was declared independent on October 1, 1919 from the Ottoman Empire. Iraq's rich history dates back to ancient Mesopotamia. The Total Area is 438,317 km², the estimated population of the country as per 2007 is 29,267, 0004. The GDP (PPP) per capita of the country as per 2007 estimate is $3,600. The currency of the country is Iraqi Dinar (IQD). The local climate is mostly desert, with mild to cool winters and dry, hot, cloudless summers.
